Dear Guests,

when the first Etyek Cellar Festival was organized in 2003, it may wasn’t thought to become one of the most successful wine and gastronomical festival in Hungary. We could summarise the last nine festivals through the following data: nearly 500 000 visitors, 4000 wines of 800 wine producers, 1000 concerts and cultural programs, 500 handicraftsmen, 45 tons eaten of traditional Hungarian bakery products, and a 100-year rainfall record.

During the X. Etyek Cellar Festival on 19-20 May 2012 we would like to overbid all of our festivals up to now. We are planning special surprises for the visitors.

We invited the most excellent Hungarian winemakers from all wine region, visitors and wine growers can clinc their glasses. Also you can taste champagne at several spots of the Festival (at the Chmapagne Bar and Gourmet Terasse next to Rókusfalvy Cellar, in the „Pezsgőudvar” at the „Kecskegödör”, at the Búcsú Square and at the „Kálvária udvar”).

Visitors can participate to lots of colorful cultural programs like jazz concerts, handicraft’s exhibitions and market. For children we are planning puppet-shows, concerts, playing house all day long.

The traditional soccer match between the Hungarian Winemakers and Hungarian Parliament will be also organized.
